VX2-12 Series Upper Disconnect & Upper Earthing Load Switch Unit

The disconnect and earthing switches are arranged on the upper side of the assembly, effectively reducing the overall depth of the ring main unit. This layout saves cabinet space and simplifies internal wiring, inspection, and later maintenance operations.

Built-in reliable mechanical interlocks prevent dangerous misoperation:

• The disconnect and earthing switches cannot be actuated while the load switch is closed.
• The load switch is mechanically locked from closing when the earthing switch is engaged.

This physical protection fully complies with international safety standards and safeguards field maintenance personnel.

High-performance red insulating shields are equipped for phase-to-phase and phase-to-earth insulation. Precisely machined conductive contacts ensure stable contact pressure, delivering outstanding rated current and short-time withstand current performance for long-term reliable operation.

Compatible with dry air, nitrogen and other eco-friendly insulating media. It eliminates reliance on greenhouse gas SF₆, conforming to global low-carbon power grid development trends and cutting down long-term gas replacement and waste treatment costs.
