The VX3-12 series lower disconnect & lower earthing circuit breaker unit is a core modular component specially developed for 12kV environmentally friendly gas-insulated ring main units (RMUs). It adopts a unique lower-disconnect and lower-earthing layout, integrating a circuit breaker, disconnect switch and earthing switch into one frame. This integrated module realizes circuit breaking, visible isolation and maintenance earthing, perfectly matching the structural design of compact eco-gas ring main cabinets.

Disconnect and earthing switches are arranged at the lower section of the frame. This design optimizes the vertical space layout of the cabinet, leaving ample space for cable wiring at the upper part of the switchgear. It simplifies cable routing and field wiring work.
Complete Mechanical Interlock Protection
Standard reliable mechanical interlock is equipped to prevent misoperation:
- The disconnect switch and earthing switch cannot be operated when the circuit breaker is closed.
